Best story I ever heard about Phil was from a Luc Longley interview. When playing in the Finals vs. Utah, Rodman was sluggish all up and down the court and wasn't himself. Luc Longley described Rodman as visually looking unwell, and said it looked like he even had the shakes or something. Phil thought the problem was that in the middle of Mormon country, there was absolutely NOTHING for Rodman to do. So what he did was he sent him on a plane to Vegas for a night, told him to get all that crap out of his system, and come back refreshed.
And then Rodman showed up the next game.
Thats hilarious i might have to look that story up.

That's because Nash will adjust to stop palming the ball after he hears Phil's remarks. This will throw Nash off his game as he must dedicate focus on not palming the ball, leading to 9 turnovers in an important game.

For being defending champions, not to mention a coach with 10 rings, Phil does an awful lot of whining, whether it be for psychological advantage or not. Is it really that hard to show some class and just let the teams play? Its like when Pop from the Spurs starts pulling out the hack a whoever, all you're thinking is REALLY? you have to resort to this.
