Default Re: What's the All-Divison Team for each division?

oh god, Rodgers has only played TWO SEASONS!!!

it shouldn't suprise ANYONE if Romo has a better year this season...

it also shouldn't suprise anyone if Romo has the better career in general...

here check this out:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_car...rating_leaders

Rank Quarterback Passer Rating
1 Steve Young 96.8
2 Philip Rivers 95.8
3 Tony Romo 95.6
4 Peyton Manning 95.2
5 Kurt Warner 93.7
6 Tom Brady 93.3
7 Joe Montana 92.3
8 Drew Brees 91.9
9 Ben Roethlisberger 91.7
10 Chad Pennington 90.1

and before you go on a little rant about how passer rating is overrated, take a look at the names on that list...

Rodgers has only played 2 seasons, so he is not eligable yet, and would be on the list too, but lets not pretend that the there is an actual "gap" here to where Rodgers is so much better it is just flat out lop sided...

this entire "romo/rodgers" debate started in here by me pointing out that Rodgers would destroy Romo in a poll because everyone hates Romo's guts...

I am fully aware that a poll would have Rodgers winning by a very large margin...

I am surprised that Felix lost to freakin Ronnie Brown like that though...eehh...

Cowboys get hated on...SIMPLE AS THAT!

Ware and Witten get respect, because NFL fans are forced to give it to them...but not anyone else.

Its not like Ronnie Brown is some scrub. I don't see why you are so incredulous that anyone could think Ronnie Brown is better than Felix.

-his numbers are worse
-he is even more injury prone than Felix
-he is MUCH older
-Felix's ypc is off the charts

I just don't see any logical reason for someone to say that Ronnie is better...and all the people that voted for Ronnie just said things like "Ronnie has been around longer, he is more proven, ect"...it doesn't mean anything

I don't see how she factors into whose better right now. Felix has more potential because he's younger but that doesn't change the here and now.

Ronnie gets goalline and short yardage carries so that doesn't do much to help his ypc.

But Felix has only played 2 seasons!!!!

....see why that's a ridiculous thing to say for Rodgers too? I could go the "Rodgers is younger" route too but I wont.

but youth is a great attribute for a RB...not nearly as much as a QB

no RB could pull a Brett Favre and have their best year at 40...

You act like Ronnie Brown is old. Because Felix is 23 and Brown is 28 that adds to the argument of who is better now? Do you not know how stupid that sounds? The argument isn't over who you would rather have on your team where you could say "well I'd rather have Felix because Ronnie will be pretty much done in 3 years". It has nothing to do with who is the better player. Anyway the thread isn't even discussing the original topic anymore so I'm done with it.

And for the record I would have voted Felix.

you would have voted correctly...cuz Felix is better "NOW"...

MMMWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

when there isn't a clear cut winner it is always just a matter of opinion...I can just promise you though if it was Romo on the Packers and Rodgers here in Dallas...the poll would be much closer to 50/50...or even a lop sided win for Romo...with Cowboy haters talking about how Rodgers hasn't won shit yet...

That offense would have to be the best of the 8 divisions. It would be hands down if the offensive line wasn't so weak for an All-Division O-line. Still, you've got arguably the best QB in the league, either the best or second best RB, another otp 5 RB, a top 5 and top 10 WR, and a top 3-5 TE.

I mostly did this based on last season and future potential instead of the All-Pro vets who have been on the decline.
Lilja's a Chief now. Failed a physical and got cut.
