This thread was started three years ago when both were in high school, and today we have people saying it's Mayo when we actually know which one is the better player (hint: not Mayo) in the NBA?
college and pros is rose. does rookie of the year mean nothing? he also made more of an impact with 3 more assist per game on average so thats not enough? we could see he's clutch in the playoffs with 36 points and 28 points in 2 games against boston and sure you can make the arguement that KG wasnt there, but come on he's better then mayo.
I've watched both of them play in high school, college and the NBA, and I'd still like an explanation of how O.J. Mayo is better at basketball than Derrick Rose. He's a better shooter, I guess, but that's about it.
Maybe your TV shows different games than mine, because in the games my TV shows Derrick Rose is a significantly better player.

I didn't mean it like that, because obviously Mayo's the better shooter. What I meant was that I suppose if you want to say Mayo's the better player then that's what you'd have to stand on, but that's pretty much it.
