i wouldn't mind kenyon martin but i dont think him and francis will get along, send francis in a deal, and yeah i can't wait until everyones freakin contract expires so we can start fresh and by the time there contracts expire frye will be an allstar
The knicks need post defenders for sure, martin plays defense wayyyyyyyyy better than mo-taylor anyday of the week.
I'm not saying Martin won't upgrade the Knicks, just that they might only win up to only five more games than they did this season, but it'll still be a losing season with even more media coverage about bouts in the locker room.

That's all the Knicks need more long bloated contracts....ugh....
Wasn't portland near the bottom of the league? You are trading for more blazers that don't help their team win?
And you want to take on KMart's five more years, huge contract, bad knee and bad attitude?
How many more overbloated mistakes can the Knicks make? It's way way way out of control?
The Knicks don't realize that in order to get good, you have to get bad first, REAL bad....which means clearing out salaries, having three or four bad years, collecting high draft picks and young not quite ready talent....then you get lucky with a draft pick or two and build towards a good team.
The Knicks keep making things worse and worse and worse. Team is destined to be bad to mediocre for next five years and nothing will change that.....so stop with the bad contracts for loser players....
The first trade makes sense. The majority of trades in the NBA are moving unwanted players for more unwanted players. Miles + Ratliff aren't exactly keys to Portland's future. They may be willing to take a shot at guys like Rose and James. And the cap space makes it all much more worth while.
The 2nd trade is a little more sketchy. I'm sure Denver would like to move K-Mart, but why would they want Taylor? They'll probably get a better offer from another team. The 29th pick isn't exciting enough to make the deal worth while. Would even the Knicks do it?
Is Isiah coaching the team next year? And people thought Brown was bad. The Marbury, Francis, Crawford combo sounds bad. Neither Francis nor Marbury are good at the 2. Marbury is a much better point than Francis. I don't like Crawford's game, but he's good at times. Is Francis or Crawford the 6th man? Crawford at SF is pretty undersized.

The reason why denver takes MoTaylor is because his contract is up after the upcoming season.
