Sports Fans around the world, hello from Cleveland, Ohio.
The Great city of Cleveland is asking for your help. Our beloved Cavaliers have been on the rise of late, fighting their way through some awful times throughout their franchise history.
But up until this offseason, there was always one constant with the cavs, their Televeision broadcaster, Michael Reghi.
He has been with us since something like 1994, and was clearly the best ambassador this franchise and city has ever had.
As some of you may know, a detroit businessman named Dan Gilbert bought the cavs a couple years ago, which really has turned around our franchise.
He is without a doubt one of the best sports owners in the history of our sports in cleveland.
But this summer, he made one awful mistake-- he rudely dismissed michael reghi and brought in 20 year pistons announcer, fred mcleod.
A group of Michael Reghi supporters have gathered on cavs.com message boards to " Bring Back Reghi "
We have emailed local newspapers, radio stations, etc. So far we have received a strong response. This includes emails and voice mails from Reghi himself.
But the center of our efforts revolves around our online petition, at
www.petitiononline.com/CAVSBALL
I am asking you, whether you are familiar with this issue or not, to please sign this petition as a sports fan who appreciates a quality commentator.
On behalf of the city of Cleveland, Thank You.
