Yao has really improved. Rockets look good just give them time. The Texas triangle will be a tough trip this year for many teams. Glad the Spurs got the win.

I saw there were several pages of trash talking, and I'd like to avoid that so I will just make this one post to describe how I feel about tonight's game...

and of course...

I predicted a San Antonio win (by 6 points) so losing isn't a surprise or a letdown in and of itself. But there's no excuse for letting a lead slip like that, especially at home. Yes, the Spurs are probably the best team in the league and yes the Spurs play very good defense when the game is on the line, but that wasn't the whole story. This was a perfect storm of a Spurs scoring burst and a Rockets scoring black hole. Good, great, even extraordinary defense doesn't cause a team to shoot 7% on their last 27 shots of the game (2-27). That takes a heaping helping of ice cold shooting, and that's just what the Rockets offered up. Can't remember the last time I saw something like that, from any team.

Congratulations to the Spurs. They scored more points in 48 minutes and that's all that really counts. Now I gotta go see about getting this knife taken out.

Completely agree with you Clutch. I went to a sports bar to watch the game, and I was just extremely dissapointed seeing these huge lead slip away. There is no reason the Rockets should have lost this game. No excuse. Even if we would of won, I would of been sort of dissapointed because we need to learn to keep leads like this.

What a bunch of crap.

i was never worried history says the spurs would always make a run no matter how bad the deficit
spurs have to much experience and thats mainly on the defensive end last year they turn the defense up particually in that 3qtr!

The Texas Triangle is all good.
Just hook it up with some Texas Bar-B-Q on the road!
