I like what the Kings are doing. They have a bunch of good big bodies. Thompson, Landry, Dalembert, Cousins, and Whiteside. I love it. Whiteside can actually afford to develop out there, too, because he's not getting PT over any of those guys. Also has a wide variety of big men to work with. Should be good for him.
Kings are going to be good this year. They have big bodies, and it gets you far in the NBA. They should be involved in a few trades.
Also Pittman should be down to 280lbs by the time the season starts. Pat Riley and Spo will kill him with workouts.
His FG% was off the charts in college. 66% lol... Dude is too big to handle down low. Didn't realize his wingspan was so huge as well. 7'6. Should only get better on defense with a loss of weight.

While I don't necessarily love some of the players, I absolutely love the approach. It's what I wish the Clippers would do. However the Clippers approach is to take anyone who fills an immediate need and that's it. So long as the team looks complete on paper, that's their big achievement.
The Warriors took Ekpe Udoh, you're telling me we couldnt have found some way to switch with them to get Monroe before Detroit did? The Warriors still could have got their guy at our pick. But no. Clippers wanted to just get someone they can write down at small forward and say "hey fans, look we have a complete roster, buy tickets now!!!!"
Well he's committed to losing weight, but we'll see how that goes. He has skill, touch, but weight will always be a problem. He should've started at Texas but his conditioning was so poor that 20 minutes was all he could handle in most cases.
