it's better to take it after you work out cause your body replenishes it's lost ATP. It will absorb faster that way. Some of the ones suggest using before cause it has performance enhancers such as caffine, and other adrenal boasters. Ironically people think it's the creatine that gives them the boost, but it's not.

Whoever said creatine is the safest product you can take is a fool. If you mess up your dosage you can do your organs some serious harm...im not tellng you not to use it because its a fantastic workout aid, but be careful and don't take it for extended periods of time
