Uh no they don't....corners on the Raiders literally get no help on defense. Even Aso said so when he was talking to Skip Bayless.

Raiders and Packers are the only two teams in the NFL that play straight man-to-man with their CBs

hey, does anyone know who they went on to declare was the best Cb of all time after taht interview?

I bet Nnamdi said Deion...#21...after him

nvm, edit:

I've seen NUMEROUS amounts of two deep looks from them and the occasional zone look.... no team plays straight man to man the entire game, esepcially a team who doesn't have dynamic pass rushers up front.

I'm not saying they don't play man to man a lot, but typcially when they play man they have two safeties over the top 60-75 percent of the time.

I'm not all that interested in what Nnamdi has to say, people lie...game film does not.

If anyone is implying that the Raiders play no help over the top a lot of the time, you're mistaken.

Oh ok, so now he's a liar.....ok. This is why you have zero credibility about the NFL.

Deion is the Michael Jordan of Corners.....the only reason why he's considered the greatest is because he's the most recent great corner they've seen. All the other greats were probably old as ****.

I sure am calling him a liar, how do you argue against game film? It's there for everyone to see, just look at it.

Ain't no team in the NFL playing zero coverage defense every snap. Not even close.

He didn't say every snap if you watched the whole video of Aso talking, he said he'll get help around 6 times a game.....Jesus.

I think the CBs in Oakland and Green Bay do play man-to-man every snap...

and unfortunatly in Nnamdi's case, there is very little footage of him to be found anywhere...the little that exists on YouTube is all man, and I don't think any of it is from last year though cause no one throws at him...so he has no highlights...

when I saw him in Dallas he played man every time I payed attention to him though...

So basically they run a cover 1 where the safety covers the other corners ass, or cover zero defense 55 out of 61 defensive snaps every game? And they play absolutely zero zone defense?

Nah... that's really, really over exxagerated....and false.

Don't believe everything you hear.

just the CBs...they can run a cover 3 and still have the CBs playing man...both safteys zone over the top as well as a nickle CB...leaving Nnamdi and the other side man-to-man

and on 3rd and deep, Nnamdi would still be giving a huge cussion, which may look like zone but it isnt...

In a cover 3, the outside corners are responsible for the back third of the deep field.... so if you're saying the safeties are playing a cover 2 shell over the top, and 1 linebacker and the nickel back are zoning the flats on both sides....that leaves one defense in the whole middle of the defense.... do you realize how easy that would be to exploit? Not to mention it's not a cover 3 defense if both outside corners are playing man to man with safety help over the top... that's just a cover 2 shell with some funky ass zone being played by the underneath coverage.

yeah Nnamdi gets help every 3rd and 5+ yards

that part was exagerated...him not getting help

that is something that is probably exagerated with Revis as well...he is getting help on 3rd downs...

well, it could be true that they just never play a cover 3 in Oakland...they might just go cover 2 at most

and if they were it would be on known passing down, were you might not need anyone at all to zone the flats...leave them open...you are just preventing a first down anything caught in front of that can be tackled...
