Default Say LeBron goes to the Bulls

And Ray wants to join him, but wants to do a sign and trade. Would you take Deng in return for Ray, or prefer him to just leave and not waste cap space on Deng?

Uhmm. That's intersting. I never even thought of that scenario but I can see Boston moving Pierce back to SG and starting Deng at SF. It gives them a much needed injection of youth and somebody else to guard LeBron in the playoffs and allows Pierce to be more of an offensive weapon.

I am a Bulls fan though so you can take that with a grain of salt, i guess.

Are you guys serious. Deng has one of the worst contracts in the NBA right now. 11 million, 12 million, 13 million, 14 million next 4 years. Horrible

I don't mind the player, I mind the contract. However, I'm not against the idea. Pierce could mentor Deng and he might live up to the contract with someone like Rondo feeding him the rock. Deng could be a 20/5/5 guy on Boston.

I agree. The contract is pretty bad but Deng could greatly benefit from the tutelage of a couple championship caliber hall-of-famers and an all-star-point guard.

No offense to Rondo but I think he's a back-up pg at best w/o the big three in Boston. The confidence that he gained from playing with those guys elevated his game to a level I doubt he would have achieved otherwise or playing for a bad-mediocre team.
