Foye isn't a bad player, a solid combo guard who can distribute, but at times becomes a blackhole. Also undersized at about 6'3". I don't see why Olshey went for him with Bledsoe, Warren, Gordon and Baron holding down the guard positions when only Aminu is our potential SF. Could it be a precursor to a Baron trade?
LAT update: Meet another new Clippers: Ryan Gomes. All the ex-TWolves making me feel misty eyed for Minnesota.

One right after another. If Rhino is retained, we'll have 3 Ex-Wolves on the roster .
On the real, Gomes is a solid player and I expect him to contribute right off the bat. Just wondering what the details of this contract is. Gomes has good size at 6'7, career numbers of 11.5/5.1 on 45.3/36.1 shooting.
Foye will provide a nice lift off the bench with his scoring. I actually think his game is best fit as a Ben Gordon type 6th man role where he can only focus on scoring. Gomes is a undersized forward who plays a lot bigger than he is and will provide toughness inside. Nice solid little moves.
Love love love the Gomes signing. He can start off the bat at small forward and he is a solid glue guy. Plays hard, doesn't complain, and can hit open jumpers and crash the boards.
Foye I'm unsure about. Now we have 3 undersized sgs in Ej, Foye, and Warren. It would be nice to get some length at the 2 or an extra wing who can defend. Even bringing back Sual would be nice because we are lacking length at sg unless we sign Livingston who can guard opposing sgs
