Re: Heat trading Michael Beasley to Timberwolves for almost nothing
The alternative diva team: Jefferson, Love, Beasley.
If these guys got their problems together, this would be an amazing team.
But these guys also have the ability to show that they are the biggest wastes of talent ever.
I wish this three would get a chance to play together. They could be something special to watch.

All three teams should because they will get a big trade exception in return, which they can use to rebuild their teams.
Discretion is the better part of valour, even when teams are upset right now.

Re: Beasley Traded to Wolves
This is great for the Heat since the swapped 1st round picks and all know it'll be a top pick

my guess is those picks wont be swapped for a # of years. minny could actually be good by then

They probably could, but I don't think they want to take salary back. Cap room and flexibility is more important to them at this point.

Re: Beasley Traded to Wolves
Minny is so damn desperate that they'll take any team's wasted top lottery picks (Beas, Darko).
what a sad franchise Minny is. totally run by idiots.

Re: Beasley Traded to Wolves
I wanted Beasley to stay in Miami and prove his #2 pick but it was really either Spolestra or Beasley after this season. the Miami made their choice or really Bosh, Wade and/or LBJ made their choices for them easily.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.
Doesn't surprise me about trading Beasley. I could light it up with him in the 2K games but sadly for him that doesn't translate to real life. He'll probably have higher scoring stats on the 'Wolves, but I don't see him completely turning it around or anything.

I hope this goes down. I could rest easier knowing he's not coming to the Raptors.

Why?
They get a guy who was the #2 overall pick just two years ago for peanuts.
If he flops, they didn't give up dick to get him.
I honestly think he's got a good chance to live up to his potential in Minnesota. Not as much pressure there.
