Re: Heat trading Michael Beasley to Timberwolves for almost nothing
IMO this trade is good for beasley......He has a better chance of proving that he can be a legit NBA star in Minnesota....

I honestly think he's got a good chance to live up to his potential in Minnesota. Not as much pressure there.
For other reasons. Countless.
True this deal is perfect for him. Then again facilitating a deal that allows miami more cap space will be looked down on by other GMs.

Don't get me wrong LaLa, I'm not questioning Kahn's smarts.. I do think this is a very good deal for him though.

There must be even more wrong with beasley than we know.. Im sure there was something else available than a pick for him? Even if it did clear space??
Im also 100% sure Riley knows what he is doing though

They are not saving money. They are saving cap space.
As for stacking the team.. on the contrary... this move was done to do exactly that. If they keep Beasley, they have no money to sign the remaining 9 roster spots. After the big 3, Beasley has the next biggest salary at 5 Mil. Now by dumping Beasley's 5 million dollar salary, the Heat have 5 million more dollars to sign other free agents.

Now they can offer Mike Miller a 5 million multi year contract.Miller is one of the most underrated Playmaker/Shooters in the entier league. A perfect foil for the big 3.

Really good trade for Minny. Riley really wanted Mike Miller alongside the big 3 it seems.

Man, if getting dumped for a 2nd round draft pick doesn't light a fire under your ass then I don't think anything could.

The T-Wolves should trade Al Jefferson for Vince Carter now.
Because they don't have a good SG.
Their Lineup would look like this
1-Flynn
2-Carter
3-Johnson
4-Love
5-Milicic
6-Beasley
and Orlando
1-Nelson
2-Reddick
3-Lewis
4-Jefferson
5-Howard
6-Pietrus
