Splitter should help out that frontline. Parker will be healthy. One more run is all they have. But in no way are they the titans from before. Duncan is older.

Manu's performance did drop a little in the games after the broken nose, but I don't want to make excuses. The Suns' red hot bench was the main reason the Spurs couldn't win. Several Spurs struggled at various times. Blair wasn't getting enough playing time (maybe he had minor injuries), Bonner was getting too much playing time. Things just seemed to unravel for 'em.
A healthy Parker (who isn't playing internationally for once. . .), a center they badly needed, a relaxed Jefferson, and hopefully a healthy Duncan/Manu/Blair, and Spurs fans really have no reason to think they don't have a good shot this year. Not as good of a shot as LA or Miami. . .but other than them. . .I can't really say there are any teams that I'd put money on over SA to win this year.
