Indy PG A.J. Price will be out a couple of months after hurting his knee in a NYC celebrity game. Price said he will have surgery next week
Jesus Christ, I'm really starting to wonder if we're cursed, a friggin celebrity game? Him, McRoberts, and Hibbert had all been working out at the Fieldhouse with Pacers staff. Building chemistry, working on his game, now this.
A.J. Price, who had a solid rookie season, said late Saturday night that he will have surgery on his left knee sometime this week after injuring it during a basketball game in Long Island, N.Y.
"I was making a move to the basket and it happened," Price, a New York native, said by phone. "It's something with my kneecap. I'm going to be out a few months."
Left knee's the same one he tore his ACL in while he was at UConn. Seems unrelated though I'm no doctor. Two months recovery time doesn't make it seem TOO serious, though knee troubles are never good obviously.
As a Pacers Insider, we wanted to inform you that A.J. Price is expected to be out four to six months with a fractured left patella.
Price injured his knee in a charity basketball game Saturday night in New York. He was examined by team doctors this afternoon and will undergo surgery tomorrow in Indianapolis.
what y'all think about sherron collins and eric bledsoe? they might be good fits at PG and good pickups in the 2 round. I think bledsoe with go in the first but collins might fall to you at # 10 in the second, could be another Ty Lawson kind of player.
