CLINTON PORTIS- Comeback Player of the Year??

Portis is a great player. He used to be a real good, fast back coming from Denver's system but perfectly changed into a power back into Gibbs. He has worked very hard during this offseason to get back into shape. I think he may have to share carries with LJ and Torrain/Westbrook (I doubt Willie Parker will make the team) but I will be happy if he can rush for 1400 and break the Redskins career rushing record. The offensive line is also much better than before by drafting Trent WIlliams and trading for Jamaal Brown. The O-line is 40000 times better than it was last year (which was just pure shit). With McNabb under center and a defense that is very effective at getting after the quarterback, I think my skins can push for a playoff spot this year. HTTR!

Artis Hicks is not a starting caliber guard on a good line. Yes he was on Minnesota but that line was very overrated over the past 2 seasons. There is a reason he walked. Portis has SO many miles. No matter how good of care he takes of himself you reach a certain point where injuries begin to nag and every week he's on the injury report as question (such the case the past couple years for him). He is Washington's best option so of course he's going to get a chance but he's washed up. There is no way he best a 4.3 ypc and I can't see him eclipses 1,200 yards in the best case scenario.

Well Marlo, I guess we will just agree to disagree. Clinton still knows how to churn out yardage in the most limited of space. Don't hate on the Trent Williams/ Jamaal Brown combo cuz that's a nice tandem. The ZBS will get the best out of Portis' 'washed up' legs so it's a good situation for a 'broken down car'. Lol
