I found this song more interesting and entertaining than 90% of the wanna-be music in this thread

I believe Tyler is mocking, and mimicking a lot of the "rappers" out there.

And by "wanna-be" I mean fake, want to be rappers, want to be cool, ie Rick Ross, amongst other people putting out music that is a disgrace to real hip-hop. The industry is a business, I get it, I just have different taste in music I guess.

Not all the music in this thread is bad IMO, you have posted a lot of songs, and a lot of artists that I have never heard, that I genuinely enjoyed listening to.

The title is a bit misleading.

Mostly stuff that 16 year old girls listen to, and a bunch of stereotypical fake gangsters rapping about guns, drugs and b1tches. Basically music that is bad for the culture of ACTUAL good hip-hop/rap.

I share in that sentiment

Premier is DEF my favorite producer of all time. 9th wonder dj'ed for "The Sneaker Ball" at the store I work at 2 years in a row, I got to meet him and shake his hand, hes a boss. And Statik Selektah is the best up and coming producer IMO. Both preem and 9th have said great things about Stat, and have a lot of respect for him.

a couple more stat songs

I still can't believe Little Brother bailed on 9th and once they did they become wack doing songs with lil Wayne and there albums were never the same without 9th.

Not that they couldn't hold their own, but 9th MADE Little Brother what they were. And they were DOPE. Still don't get why the split?

Just like Guru was sick, but without Premo I don't know if his career would have been the same. RIP

I basically like EVERY song Premier has EVER produced. 9th is just a notch below him, and Statik another notch below.

But THAT is my style of hip-hop. ^^
