He's much more similar to G-Unit than Denzel is to Three Six.

Dude has specifically he said he's trying to bring back G-Unit/Dipset's sound. Also, he said some ignorant shit in his Hot 97 interview about any rapper who's not from the streets being a weirdo.

I shit on Lil B numerous times for numerous reasons, his music is just not enjoyable overall. However, one of the songs ace23 put on his top songs list by the guy really resonated with me.

It was some very human shit, had a lot of genuine expression in it, as honest as a recording as I've heard lately.....unlike a lot of the drivel y'all try to claim and dissect.

Uh...there was not one Lil B song on my top songs list...

Maybe you're thinking of Retchy P - Special Jim?

No he said the content of their music made them a weirdo rapper. Not that they weren't from the street. Kendrick Lamar is from Compton. But he doesn't rap street shit. What Troy Ave said was stupid but he didnt exactly say you're not from the street you're a weirdo rapper.

I like Troy Ave NY mixtape. Dope.

difference is he is making something that sounds reasonably fresh and actually good while raider klan tumblr kids just use lord infamous flow on every song and making something horrible. i've tried. the overall attempt is just so corny and i can't fck with it at all. denzel curry isn't on that action bronson level but he isn't special and i can't comprehend how anyone would rather listen to that over da mafia 6ix mixtape that just came out.

Just because he's from Compton doesn't mean he's from the streets. If you're not out there putting in work, you're not "from the streets" in my opinion.

Either way, we agree that he's a dumbass. Whatever.

Explain what you mean by fresh. And lol @ actually good. Maybe I need to listen to more Troy Ave, but everything I've heard from him is subpar. Denzel Curry's worst song is better than anything I've heard from him.

He doesn't flow like Lord Infamous on every track. I agree most of his old shit, he did a lot and he's cited him as a major influence. Have you actually listened to N64? Probably not.

Pretty obvious Kendrick is from the streets by his raps.

Yeah we agree on Troy comments being stupid. Doubt he will blow up even tho I like him.

I don't remember Kendrick ever saying anything about selling drugs or doing any kind of street shit.
