Well I have nothing against house music, it fine when played in the right situations say at.... a house party. To listen to on the bus or while I travel, not so much, I need something that I can sing along to and something that has some kind of substance. House music is for dancing, not really for anything else, at least that's the way it is for me.

Didn't really feel it. Guess I'm not into it like I used to be. My taste is much different now. It's just not very. . . musical.

As for your second quote. I'm not looking down at people...I just know only those who are really into it will probably like that song. It's a little too much for some...or in the case of you and heyhey, it's not enough. To me it's just perfect and you should know the people that like it is a relatively small portion of society (I mean like as in listen to it on their own time, not wasted at a club).

And heyhey, trust me when I say people are very emotionally invested into this music. lol I also hate most lyrics. I prefer vocals that simply fit the rhythm of a song. Lyrics to me simply point out the obvious. A lot of filler. But vocals in general can make a song amazing in correlation to the beat, rhythm, etc. I guess it really isn't that much of a surprise I don't put much weight into lyrics considering I listen to mostly house and metal. lol To me words are more appropriate in novels and such...ie. real literature.

Hey man I'm just sharing my honest opinion. When it comes to music most people are going to have differing opinions. No need to catch feelings over it. You wouldn't want only people who agree with you to post in your thread right?

Is this even house music?? It's definitely more techno to me.

And terrible example to use if you're trying to win fans over to house. Sh!tty song. Boring.

A large sub-genre of house music incorporates techno or pretty much is techno. Hence the term tech house. lol I mean most people consider minimal to be a form of house and yet it's really just simple techno too. Thanks for trying to be technical and keeping me honest though....I guess. lol

And no, I'm not trying to win people over...hence why I stated most people don't know good music in the OP. And no, it's not a shitty song. You probably just like fluffy music made my Guetta and Tiesto. Yes, you are boring. Conversations tend to suck when one side clearly has no idea what they're talking about.

Haha, ok, i'm boring cos i didn't like this song. I much prefer house music more vocal or with more synth than this. Noone agrees with you yet. Like a poster above I've been clubbing for years, and been to plenty of raves back in my clubbing honeymoon. I just can't hear anything at all in this track that makes it stand out. If I'd had some pills I'm sure i'd feel different, but i can almost guarantee whatever track the dj played next would get more of a reaction out of me.

For the record i've never owned a tiesto or guetta album.
