Default Ridnour's 2005 Season

I'm in a debate with a guy on another forum.

It's my position that despite his 33 min per game avg, he struggled all last yr, and although he was the "starter" he was plagued by injuries (which he played through), and as a result Watson took away significant time from him.

Not to mention he couldn't shoot for ****.

He is having a great yr this yr, but the main focus is that the 2005 Ridnour wasn't that good, especially in fantasy sports, and that Ridnour 2005 and Monta Ellis 2006 would be similar market value in a Yahoo league.

Thoughts?

i assume you are talking about the 2005-2006 season?

his numbers were solid: 7.0assist/gm 2.1 to/gm 11.5 ppg where earl comes in is that he received a lot of 4th qtr minutes which i think affect rid's confidence in that the coach didnt trust him as much as watson in crunch time

i dont play fantasy hoops, but i do know this-- monta ellis is going to have a great year for gs

Ridnour had the talent last year...But just wasn't consistent

This year he is, with more driving in talent

I thought Ridnour was a great fantasy play last year (A little biased)

Ellis and Luke (2005) should be around the same though

I'm a huge Ridnour fan, but yeah, I figure his 2005 was a bit of a letdown.

He was still a decent play, but a 10 and 6 pg in fantasy is middle tier.
