This is the rookies who are unproven and havent played a single snap getting paid more than guys who are productive. Lamar Woodley will make $550,000 next season whereas Bradford will make more just putting his name on the dotted line. How you support that is beyond me. Jamarcuss Russell made well over $30mil in 3 years doing what? But you're in support of Russell getting his early huh?

As far as players who produce? Yeah they should reap the benefits of thier production. But as far as rookies entering the league making more money than guys who put up all pro numbers? Nah. Thats not ok.

it is really only the top 5-10 picks that are over paid every year...and of those picks many of them do go on to earn it...Russell isn't a common thing...

Tht being said I am 100% all for a rookie salary cap...it has been needed for a while now...and I have a feeling one is coming next year, Bradford got in at the PERFECT time...

Sam Bradford thinks it's ok but I don't. How he and other rookies make more money than someone like Peyton is sicking.

Bradford doesn't need to be defended here...this certainly isn't his fault...

I said I am all for a rookie cap...just pointing out that it isn't as bad as it looks...

Russell made it look alot worse than it is...many high paid picks DO earn thier money...and there are not that many picks that are over paid...it is only like the top 5-10 picks every year...

really just the top 5 picks...after that it isn't so ridiculous...still alot, but not 78 mill...

name all the over paid rookies over the last few years?

there really aren't that many...infact, almost half of them are all Raiders...lol

6 LaRon Landry SS Louisiana State Washington Redskins
7 Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma Minnesota Vikings
8 Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas Atlanta Falcons
9 Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State Miami Dolphins
10 Amobi Okoye DT Louisville Houston Texans

^^^ most of those guys earned thier monster contracts...Gaines Adams died, so he doesn't really count...

7 Michael Huff SS Texas Oakland Raiders
8 Donte Whitner SS Ohio State Buffalo Bills
9 Ernie Sims OLB Florida State Detroit Lions
10 Matt Leinart QB USC Arizona Cardinals

^^^ at least hlaf of those guys have earned every penny....Young and Leinart could be seen as bust, however BOTH are starting this year...

2 Ronnie Brown RB Auburn Miami Dolphins
3 Braylon Edwards WR Michigan Cleveland Browns
4 Cedric Benson RB Texas Chicago Bears
