Would he really sign for L.A? guessing if Shannon walks then L.A may try and sign him. Would he sign for the min though?

If he had a desire to beat LeBron, it's a possibility. Don't really know where the drama stands between those two. He'd probably be an upgrade over Shannon, that's for sure.

As for unsigning Steve Blake, no way. West has never shown himself to be any kind of decision maker. Phil would take Blake every time, and I'll stick with Phil and his triangle for as long as he is here. Now, if West could emerge as a true starting PG after playing with those cats.... that's where things would really get interesting.

i'd love to see him in OKC, but they already have 2 young PGs

LA and Miami are obviously great fits

he'd be an upgrade over Ronnie Price in Utah

the suns have some guys on the last year of their contracts that might leave [Richardson. Dragic. Dudley. Clark. Hill]

and currently the Knickerboppers have NO backup PG [unless that's Douglas' position]

Thats what I was thinking. I think hes worth around what Shannon Brown might be getting from us.

He's a huge steal if he takes the minimum to be a backup.

Wasn't the rumor that the lakers would pick him up if they could off-load Sasha somewhere?

if the question is "would he be willing to sign with LA?" the answer is hell yea. but if the question is "is he willing to take the minimum?" idk the answer. with the legal troubles he's going through he'll probably be playing to pay bail if he takes the minimum

he could play behind Kobe or he and Blake could run the show [for the most part] until the playoffs where Fisher will almost certainly come through in the clutch.

Why the hate?

TD is our backup PG. He's improving at his PG ability.

yep. but first they gotta find a team to take on his contract. they're throwing in a 1st rounder to entice "said" team, but a late first rounder isnt really all that special. i think they'll find a suiter though.

Why do they want to dump Sasha? He won them Game 7.

because he's expandable and it could land them a better Guard [Shannon Brown / Delonte West]. and because his contract is big enough that if they get rid of it they could then sign either of the said players without being in the lux tax [or something like that ]

I thought they were well over the Luxury Tax anyways.

Hopefully they find the money and keep Shannon, instead of us having to give him a big deal. He might be good for us, but hes too risky right now.

In an effort to free some money from the books and reduce its luxury tax hit for next season, the Los Angeles Lakers are attempting to package Slovenian swingman, Sasha Vujacic, with a future first round pick in an effort to trade him.

apparently they're looking to "reduce its luxury tax hit for next season"
