Punt returns are a little better, but I agree that kick returns are a bit harder, but also more realistic.

And I had a problem with getting a clipping called on me too. But I realized that only happened if you'd use the Gameflow play calling, and it'd select a right return, but the kick would go to the other side, so the blockers would illegally block. Try just doing a middle return or picking your own play on kickoff returns & see if that helps. It helped cut down on my clipping penalties.

Passing defense is harder than it has ever been (against the computer). But I'm loving it.

I gave it my first go around yesterday and it is hard as hell playing on All-Madden. Granted I wasn't really good to being with, but on '10 I can at least beat the computer and now I'm getting blown out. RB's breaking tackles left and right.

there are major flaws in madden 11 that are supposedly going to be fixed with the first patch sometime at the end of this month...

the two MAJOR issues:

1. DBs suck at defending passes, sometimes they just don't even move

2. RBs almost never go down on the first hit...usually takes 2 or more to bring them down...

and then there are alot of other minor issues being fixed...

alot of my games are like 60-50 and stuff like that...it is just very difficult to play defense in this one right now...they tried to make it a pass happy game and they succeeded too much...they need to tone it down a ton

Not wasting 65 dollars on this one. Only thing that makes me want this game is updated rosters other than that I wouldn't spend my money on it. Maybe I'll get it once the price drops by a lot.
