Talking DeJuan Blair and George Hill

DeJuan Blair and George Hill

Dejuan Blair is awesome! But he's probably hurting us on defense because we loose so much size, but there has to be a way to figure this out. It can't be his lack of effort on defense.

Elton Brand (before injury) found a way to make it work. He was amazing. he was an All-Star and despite 6'8, he used to get plenty of blocks. There are a few more players who historically held their own who were shorter big men, i.e. Barkley, Rodman.

We need to make way for Blair see what he can do. I think we have already done that somewhat and i like it. Must give Pop credit for letting this guy get good minutes so far.

George Hill is amazing. I still can't believe someone started a thread talking trash about Hill and how he crumbles under pressure because of one game against the Lakers a few games back. Seriously, this guy is definitely a player and I believe can play under pressure. He's getting good minutes too, but we need to start finding our go to guys who understand our offense.

I'm very excited about these guys too.

I think Spurs fans are just gonna love Blair!
Saw flashes of what is to come last year and it's just going to get better.
Can't you just see Blair at the 4 and Tiago at the 5?

and...Who needs ACLs ???

I dunno. That's some pretty shitty low post offense. Blair's great for boards, but his offense is a joke. Especially compared to Duncan's. I'd much rather have an old Duncan playing than a young Blair.

I think he'll develop into a solid player though.
