all about the new swamp 81 sound for me. hemlock and hessle audio as well. can't get enough of that throwback sound.

ramadanman - glut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS09iBTo2L4 (tune of the year for me)

ramadanman - work them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SDoiEoZsWI

addison groove - footcrab http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWfiog1Ure4

and breakage's last lp was sick, especially this one, deep - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vYt9t3rKzg

some on the spacier dub tip, extremely high production value imo:

mount kimbie - carbonated http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpNbJWzxoZM

james blake - cmyk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQoQirZwxE4

No.

How in gods name is dubstep made for a club? The pace of the song is way too slow

Burial is bad ass for sure. Love to listen to his stuff.

anyways... the Caspa show last night in Austin was dope!!!

he dropped a bunch of unreleased tracks and all kinds of stuff...

but when he dropped "where's my money?" toward the end of his set the place went wild I tell ya

dude, it's made for the club.... trust me.... I've seen rusko, mala, datsik, excision, 6blocc, SPL, etc live.... and in a live setting, with bass that you could feel a mile away, that is where it's at.... the music is not too slow, it's very easy to slip house beats into it (4 on the floor kind of stuff), or even drum and bass can fit in pretty seamlessly.

Rusko kicked off his OMG tour in my hometown of SA.... just check this video, it was a really crunk show.... can't tell me this stuff is not made for a club or decent venue of some kind.

Borgore is my fav dubstep artist. I like the way he sounds. He got his own style. Listening to his music on big speakers is insane(especially when you're high).

Funny I see this thread today after listening to dub-step for the first time yesterday on youtube (was originally searching for dub music).. Anyway I liked this remix of an old reggae song 'Chase the Devil"
