What kind of deal Cleveland can make if they trade Jamison? (Since Hickson could be the starting PF)
Jamison + cash for Ellis and Biedrins?
Cavs get a starting sg and a starting C. Warriors get rid of the contracts of Ellis and Biedrins (and Nelson hate Biedrins) and can start Jamison and Lee
Jamison's untradeable, IMO unless it's just swapping him for another bad contract. Or if a contender want to take a chance. But don't expect any value back. He's just a cap-clogger.
I think that's an awful trade for the Kings. Thompson is a pretty nice big and I'd take him over Jamison any day. Why would you want 2 old(specifically Jamison), chucking, losers on a young team? Kings are trying to build a young team getting Jamison would be total shit... Keep Dalembert's expirer and sign a FA or trade for a better player.
Texas teams have alot to offer and are in a different conference.
why would any of them want Jamison?
They all have a better PF than him. He would be a backup at best on all three b/c he can't defend SFs. Only Houston would kind of make sense and even then not really.
Jamison will prob play SF for the Cavs. But, as a Cleveland fan, I would love the trade obviously. I would want Monta to play the point and move Mo to a shooting guard. He does not have a 2 body but I would try it out since he can shoot but not pass. And there has been talk in the past of the Cavs interested in Biedrins and Andy is better suited as a sixth man, not a true center. I certainly do not like our bigs situation going into this season. Andy is more of a PF and we have Hollins, who I am not to excited about. Samuels remains to be seen what he can do but did well in summer league.
