GTFO.

Who are these amateurs you are playing with? You have arguably the best RB, WR and TE.

....and Jennings/Forte as No. 2s? I want in that league.

my work league Brees got taken #2 overall...and someone took Pierre Thomas #6 overall

but those are the only two that didn't know what they were doing, and the rest of us understood that it was a bit crazy...

actually Brees is probably as safe as it gets, but you still have to take a RB there this year...

and then I heard of another league someone I know was in where Peterson fell all the way to #6...Rodgers was drafted #1, CJ #2, MJD #3, Rice #4, Brees #5, and Peterson #6...

the 2 WR slots does make it a bit misleading, although it is still a ridiculous team...

you would have Dez at WR #3 I guess...

wow at you being huge on Dez this year...did you watch alot of OSU two years ago?...serioulsy, I would really like to know where your optimism of Dez Bryant is coming from???

In my third pay league ($100 per person), Peterson fell all the way to 7th. I was shocked.

It went:

1. Chris Johnson
2. Ray Rice
3. MJD
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Drew Brees
6. Andre Johnson
7. Adrian Peterson

It made me wish I had the 7th pick instead of the first pick, although I ended up with an amazing squad anyway.

Maybe people have the same gut feeling about AP that I do this year. I would still draft him Top 4 even with my injury fears.

My work league is a bit of a joke... It is sort of funny, because this is a league literally filled with sports writers, but many don't understand FF all that well. Knowing football isn't enough... You have to understand how this game really works and importance of certain positions over others.

Here is how my team came out in my work league:

QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: Steven Jackson
RB: LeSean McCoy
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Wes Welker
WR: Terrell Owens
TE: Jason Witten
DEF: Tennessee
K: Phil Dawson

Bench:
Ben Roethlisberger
CJ Spiller
Jerome Harrison
Kenny Britt
Mohammad Massaquoi
Sidney Rice

You can only play two RBs at once, which is absolute garbage... But I am loaded there.

yeah you are completely loaded...don't think for a second that just because you had the best draft that you are a lock to win though...

I think that my work league has my views on FF in general kinda ruined...

last year our leading scorer missed the playoffs...because he just got so unlucky with matchups...whenever he scored 130, it just happened to be the same time his opponent scored 131...

infact, I think that happened HERE, to Posterize...I think last year in one of our ISH leagues, he was the top scorer in the league and didn't make the post season...

and then I already told you about two years ago where I didn't show to the draft, and then didn't manage my team the entire year and I won the SB...I swear to God...

let me see if I can dig up the old scores from last year...

found week 8...

^^^ Philly Posterize 852 points (#1 overall) record 3-4...

Illini was #10, 1-6 with 743 points, which is better than I did and I WON...

I just got weak matchups...

I believe that Post finished the season like that too...the most points scored, and missed the playoffs...

THAT is Fantasy Football...luck will KICK YOU IN THE BALLS

that is why some people don't like H2H

^^^ Doom's non-h2h league last year...

you score, you win...simple as that

I do prefer H2H, just because it is much more fun to know you "won" rather than just "yeah I scored good!"...doesn't feel nearly as rewarding...

however, it takes a great deal of luck OUT of the game...

still luck though...look at #7 (Best team Ever)....he made ZERO moves the whole year...infact I think that was a bunk team that someone made....never even drafted or anything, still made #7...

^^^ that's the kind of shit that happened to Posterize all year...just always scoring high, but losing by just a couple points catching teams at the wrong time...

Garrard, my backup, just had a freak game...lol

When you play the matchup option (which is clearly the best and most entertaining way to do it), you are sometimes going to run into that kind of thing. The league-leader in my big, big money league last year (winner gets $1,500), the guy with the highest point total for the season didn't even make the playoffs. That is an extreme case, though.

He literally got his opponents' season-best performance every week.

Btw, the above isn't even my best team this year, I don't think. That would probably be my No. 2 highest money league (winner gets $800).

I posted it a few weeks ago when we first held our draft, but here goes again... I think it may even beat Marlo's team.

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Chris Johnson
RB: Jamaal Charles
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Mike Wallace
Flex: Arian Foster
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Gostowski
DEF: Colts

Bench:
QB: Ben Roethlisberger
RB: Jerome Harrison, Darren McFadden
WR: Hakeem Nicks, Mohammad Massaquoi
TE: Ben Watson, Aaron Hernandez

...and, yes.... It is a 12-man, PPR league.

I think it would be interesting if people who are really high on their teams posted how they ended up at the end of the season.

My team in my pay league:

QB: Jay Cutler
RB: Ray Rice
RB: Beanie Wells
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Miles Austin
TE: Jason Witten
D/ST: Steelers
K: Robbie Gould

Joseph Addai
Montario Hardesty
Tim Hightower
Robert Meachem
Johnny Knox
Mohamed Massaquoi
Alex Smith

There was a bunch of times where somebody took the guy I wanted right before me. I'm not overly happy with it, but I should be alright.

That wasn't the final standings. Best Team EVAR finished 10th.
