Default Sammy Dalembert - trade?

Would you consider trading Dalembert as part of the re-tooling of the team or do you consider him to be a piece to build around? And if you did trade him, what would you want/get in return?

I want Dalembert gone no questions asked this season. He has barely improved at all in the past 3-4 seasons and the he's young and has potential argument just doesn't cut it anymore with 50+ million on the books. He started to get exposed a bit this season where last season teams may have chalked it up to inexperience and his problems with Obie. I'm sure he still has some value though as there is no doubt he still does have potential, I just don't thinik he'll come anywhere near it and hopefully he's moved before other teams figure it out.

Everyone i talk to last year laugh at me telling me S.D had so much raw talent give him time. All i ever saw was the same player i saw in college a very dumb basketball player. IF the sixers can unload him for a soild player i'll do it in a heart beat.

Im for trading him as well. Sixers shouldve taken the Joe Johnson for Dalembert trade that the Suns were rumored to be offering them. Eh...too late to cry about that now. Hawks and Raptors are teams that have always showed interest in Dalembert. Raptors dont really have a good package to offer that Philly might like. Hawks on the other hand, maybe we can get Childress and Pachulia for Dalembert + filler.

for all the reasons above mentioned (extremely low bball IQ, little/no improvement) i dont think theres any reason to keep him. however, a center with -supposedly- potential has always a nice stock, so more than one team out there has to have interest on him. trade for the nicest deal out there before his stock falls more.

i dont care if in a few years he turns to be the second coming of ben wallace, i dont think he'll ever develop in philly.
