You may be right but it's always a problem when the back-up QB is better than the starter, and you can never be sure that your young stud really is one. Vick isn't on Kurt's level but this could be another Warner/Leinart situation.

Winning teams don't have a guy like Mike Vick at quarterback.

He had a good game, but I don't think he could do it consistently, and I thought he was overrated before all this stuff went down.

He just caught a team off guard, and once he gets older and loses a trace of that athleticism, he is done.

Philly groomed Kolb for this job. Give him a chance.

Go with the guy that gives you a better chance at winning and that was Vick. Stick with Vick until he shows that he can't do it consistently.

What has Kolb shown besides a game against KC? and a NO team that took their foot off the gas pedal.

Before he got hurt, he wasn't doing anything productive. And he couldn't muster up a TD drive in the pre-season. Like a previous poster said, they need to go with the guy that gives them the better chance to win, and IMHO that is Michael Vick.

I'm no Kolb fan and I want Vick starting. That said, your argument is silly asking what he has done. He doent need to have done anything because he is a young QB who backed up Mcnabb. One of the games best QBs who wouldnt be unseated from his starters job easily. Kolb as it has been said by the guy who drafted him Andy Reid is the future. Kolb is no different than any young QB especially first round QB starting. Sam Bradford started week 1. What did he show to get that job that was guranteed the day he was drafted by the Rams? Same deal with Kolb. Young QB playing with his young supporting cast. Go thru growing pains but the only way Kolb can learn, progress or show you anything is by playing. His oppurtunities to show you anything since you were asking have been few.

I cant say Im surprised any of this is happening... I saw this coming a mile away... I remember the day they traded McNabb I said Kolb will get killed behind that offensive line because under Reid, the QB has to make ALL the plays and basically win the games almost by himself.. People didnt appreciate how hard #5 had to work just to manage this offense and put points on the board...

I want Kevin to succeed.... but I dont see anything... I dont see the flashes of greatness that you usually see even in a rookie.... I just see a guy who needs to have everything working at an optimum level in order to succeed...

I see your average system QB who could be good in a system where everything else is present and waiting for him..

Thats not Reid's way.. he puts all the pressure on the Qb.. no running game, no adjustments... poor clock management, suspect play calling... Its on the QB to make it happen..

that said, I agree that Kolb should still start if only because Reid/Banner/Lurie put the team in this position so now we have to find out whether or not the guy can actually play...

I hope Im wrong about Kolb, but I still think this direction the team has taken is disastrous...

this doesnt look good

Andy Reid already announced Kolb will remain the starter and be the starter next Sunday.
