I saw Calvin catch the ball in mid air.... fall to the ground... and the ball came out as he was still falling.

That's what I saw.

It was very very very close... but he was still falling to the ground.

Really dude? Did we watch the same game? Look at this clip...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s_EPK9MtJE
He has the ball ALL the way to the ground. Not once even bobbling it. It only ever comes out after he lands with 2 feet and then his ass when he's getting up.

you must maintain possession to the ground, if the ball hits the ground and you are in the act of going to the ground, and you lose possession upon the ball hitting the ground it is an incomplete pass. And he lost it immediately upon the ball hitting the ground, and it wasn't him trying to get up, he was still going to the ground, the ball bounces out of his hand, then he gets up and runs.

He wasn't still falling. He was on his way up, and the rule is just flatout stupid and needs to be changed. They need to go back to where getting both feet down with possession of the ball is considered a catch.

Either you're an insecure Bears fan, trollin, or dumb.

It is clear that is a catch. He puts both feet on the ground and then his butt touches the ground. The way the rule reads is a joke.

In fact I thought I saw a play similar to it in college and they have it where that would be a TD. I can't say for sure who or even if that's true but I remember them saying something about once they're down in the endzone the play is over and a TD so long as they had control when they were down.

The difference COULD be that in college you are down once you fall regardless of contact. But still it's a bogus rule.

is there a new rule this year then? i thought you had to have possesion of the ball, and as soon as it crosses the line its a touchdown,

from what i know, its a touchdown as soon as his second foot hits the ground and the play ends

thats my call

Dallas is 0-2 as the Skins fans hands the Cowboys fan another loss.

It should have been a catch, but Johnson also shouldn't have been a dickhead and pulled the ball into his chest. If he does that, he removes all doubt.
