Default Patrick Patterson, forward out of Kentucky... thoughts?

6'9 power forward out of Kentucky, Patrick Patterson. Can face up or play with his back to the basket. solid rebounder. solid team defender. what do you guys think?

plus with houston already having starter luis scola, and developing potential jordan hill, how will the rotation work? Yao/Scola/Hill/Patterson rotation between the center and power forward position? are the rockets scared they won't be able to resign scola?

With all the PF's we have, we have to keep Scola. They said Patrick Patterson is almost the same player as Al Horford, so hopefully he can turn out that way.

if he is an al horford type... this was a great pick .

i liked him in college but he played on a stacked team last year.

hill and patterson could be the bigs of the future for the rockets.

for the record... never doubt morey

I doubted him on a few stuff but it turned out good, like Aaron Brooks, and other things I can't think of off the top of my head right now, but I did doubt him for doing the Kevin Martin trade but I have a good feeling it will work out, and I'm sure he picked the right person in the draft.

from what iv heard so far, they don't expect patterson to be an all star or anything but he is most know for being a hard worker and hard nosed player which is a very good thing. i don't see superstar potential in him but i definitely see a solid contributor, a power forward that can put up 14ppg and 9rpg throughout his career. good character guy and i think he is going to fit well with houston. he is going to have a solid career.

Cool. It might be hard for him to fight for some minutes because of Scola and Hill (I'm guessing Chuck might move back to PF, or play a little of PF and C). I hope he does well for our team and your dynasty!
