If they were playing this week I would put money on the Dolphins. Dallas is playing like ass. And you're reaching to find ways to make it seem like they're playing okay. Saying they're the #2 offense in the league and all this nonsense. Who cares how many yards they're getting if they can't reach the endzone? Of course they're getting yards if they're throwing the ball 50 times a game and playing catch up. This has been a problem for more than 2 games now if you count the preseason.

And that's without getting to the defense that's only produced 2 sacks and 0 turnovers.

Dallas would be the favorites, Miami would be the underdogs...you would be in the minority....

Philly would ALSO be underdogs to Dallas...cause no really thinks that Philly is better when it is time to put your money down...

we DO still have the #2 offense in the NFL...

the Dolphins were handed a win agaisnt the Vikes...

I don't fully believe that..give credit to their defense for making key stops and their general defensive pressure throughout the game.

Miami Defense>>Dallas Defense so far..

they were handed 4 turnovers....one was a Favre fumble in the endzone that resulted in a miami TD...

yeah they are a good D and should get credit for that goal line stand...but you have to be realistic here...they aren't ANYWHERE near a top 10 team...

ONE INT was a freak bounce off Harvin that would have been a TD...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMA-fwyIVT4

^^^ highlights to the game...just look at all that shit Favre gave them

The Harvin INT was unlucky but that was the only one...Favre fumble was because of Cameron Wake getting to the QB and later Favre through the ball straight into the Dolphins CB's hands. Is that luck? No. Anyway I think they are a borderline top 10 team right now for sure..Where will you rank them if they beat the Jets?

if they can beat the Jets then I would have them around 15...

it wasn't so much "luck" I was pointing out, more like Favre throwing balls right to their guys...

Henne is NOT a great QB, they are NOT Super Bowl contenders...

usually, when I think "top 10" I think of a team that has what it takes to make a possible Super Bowl run...

now if they do beat the Jets, that would be a huge step in making me a beliver, however the jets still lack a consitant offense...also the game is in Miami...

Texans aren't really a threat to do anything this year, no matter how well they're playing right now.

They simply don't have the secondary. You gotta have dudes on the outside who can match up with people and win the individual battles....and they don't have that right now. No play makers back there either.

I agree that having them at #3 overall is quite a stretch but they are a threat this year, no doubt about that...

They aren't a threat though. When has a secondary this bad ever been part of a championship team? Can anyone that isn't a Texans fan even name their base 4-3 defensive secondary, let alone their nickle and dime corners?

Peyton Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger, Rivers.....all likely going to be in the playoffs this year. All of those quarterbacks would feast on such a brutal secondary in the playoffs. It might be the worst collective secondary in the league.

I don't think the Texans weak Secondary really will hold them back from being Super Bowl contenders..

They have the crazy abillity to score a ton of points...and their front 7 is pretty strong..Will be interesting to see how they go against Dallas this week.

according to these power rankings, there shouldn't be anything interesting about it...should be a blow out!

I get your point and agree with it to an extent, but there are a lot of NFL fans that can't name the base 4-3 or starting secondary for any team they aren't a fan of. DB's and safeties aren't exactly the most well known players on the field.
