Default I got the Better Basketball....

My son is 6. Should I start him now with a regular b-ball or something smaller? I didnt start playing ball seriously until I was about 12

well, not that i'm a parent obviously but you should just lower the hoop to like 7 or 8 ft so he can get good shooting form instead of trying to heave the ball up there and then be stuck with bad shooting form.

He likes b-ball (among other sports) but he doesnt love it... I just want him to have fundamentals as well as fun. Just not sure if I want to get him a regulation size ball or start off smaller and let him work his way up...

This video has a lot of information...
Got my son a size 5 ball and I take him with me to go balling in the gyms... He doesnt get the dribbling aspect yet but he does understand how to shoot...

I highly recommend this video though to all people and levels... You may know a lot of it but it does remind you of things you do forget as well
