Moss' ability to get open for the catch was better if that's what we're arguing now.

But Moeaki could've been alone in the end zone for all I care.

Sorry, I just can't even agree that the catches are tied.

The degree of difficulty of Moeaki's catch is quite a bit higher IMO. I don't care that Moss beat Revis for his one handed grab. I guess no one else is taking away from the Moss catch due to the fact that Revis injured himself on the play and was probably still a little rusty. I understand that, but it also (IMO) makes the fact that Moss burned Revis slightly more less impressive.

A lot of people seem to want to believe Revis faked the injury because "his pride was hurt". Even though he was complaining of his hamstring in the week leading up to the game and he's missed a game because of it, likely 2.

But I'm over the topic.

a year from now people will remember the Moss catch...

can't say the same for any other catch this year...

and yes, it is due to the players involved...I don't care, Moss over Revis is f*ckin classic...

Plus, Moss made it look so casual and effortless.

He complains about the injury but plays through it, then gets burned by a hall of fame wide receiver, the same one he shut down a season prior and now the "injury" flares up and he can't play? His pride WAS hurt. The word convenient comes to mind.

Yeah, but was his "pride" hurt to the point that he felt he needed to sit out 1 or 2 games to really sell it?

You always know what I'm going to say,

YES, YES IT WAS!

No, but seriously, he probably does have the injury, and the catch was the final straw for him to take himself out. He figured he can't cover like he wants to and needs to sit out and recover.

It's cool.

You and prime are right, to an extent, anyway. In the end, Moss burning Revis for a one handed TD catch is going to be remembered much longer than Moeaki's one handed TD grab in more meaningless game than Pats v Jets.

Oh you know they're gonna play the shit out of that replay for a while. Especially the next time they meet. I can just imagine the ESPN coverage. Animation of a clock and the "rewind" segment, "And don't forget, Moss makes the incredible one handed touchdown grab over Darrelle Revis, what happens this time around Bill Cowher?"

And then they make their garbage predictions.
