My dude M.Vick is on pace to obliterate all of his old passing records. His attitude is 100X better, his fitness is better, and at least from the looks of things he's just an overall better person than he used to be as well as a better player.

Michael Vick was always a better passer than most people gave him credit for. He just had really shitty receivers in Atlanta.

No, he's definitely better than he was back then. Even though he has better receivers now, his passes are also more accurate, he's running less, showing more patience in the pocket, and seeing the field better.

He hasn't really played much the past 4 years, so it's not like his passing has just miraculously gotten better. He had the talent in the past. He used to put the ball on his receivers numbers all the time, but they would just drop it. When the people you throw to are constantly dropping your passes, you tend to stop throwing to them and start running yourself.

That's because he would throw bullet passes. He still does sometimes but he's better at airing the ball out down the field.

vick is a piece of crap, but then again, a piece of crap has led a team to the superbowl before... QB or non-QB.

and that's what the eagles care about, just like most teams.

And Brett Favre doesn't? Didn't John Elway used to do that too? Ever seen Jay Cutler throw a pass?

As an NFL receiver, your job is to catch the pass, not to complain "he throws it too hard".

Anyone with two eyes and a brain knows that Vick's throwing arm was always powerful but it wasn't very accurate. Also his football IQ wasn't as high as it seems to be right now.

He is still gunning the ball. Difference is that his receivers are not inept like they were in Atlanta. The only target he had there was his tight end, Algee Crumpler.

How come Crumpler had no problem catching his passes, but everyone else did?

He was actually still a bit erractic with some of his throws today, but the difference is he looks a lot more relaxed in the pocket and is making throws to the RIGHT receiver.

His maturity level has grown leaps and bounds since his idiotic collapse. I think having Michael Vick back in the league greatly benefits the NFL. Winning does take the attention away from his past faults, and I think playing winning football and showing maturity will make him many new as well as old fans.

It sure has. Prior to the whole dog fighting thing, he had Allen Iverson sydrome. But luckily for him it was cured in prison.

Do you think Iverson should go to prison for a reality check? I bet he would benefit from it, and he could learn to be more of a team player. haha. A few months in the Joint for A.I. wouldn't hurt at all.
