I can't imagine Troy not winning DPOY because of his combined impact on the team and clutch plays. We could very well have 2 or 3 more losses if he wasn't on the field.

How do their key supporting cast members stack up? Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Ben Jarvus Green Ellis, Brandon Tate, Deion Branch, Danny Woodhead...

Also a couple of notable events: Mankins long hold out, Faulks season ending injury, and his #1 receiver Randy Moss being traded away...

Let us not forget that he made the top defenses of the Steelers, Jets, and Bears look like the 2008 Detroit Lions... The best team the Eagles beat was Atlanta, and that was Kevin Kolb leading the team...

I hate the fact that these Patriot recievers are somehow being "downgraded" to make Brady look better.

I'm not exactly sure what Patriot team you're watching on Sundays, but the one I'm seeing features recievers who make things happen with the ball in their hands on short routes (Welker, Woodhead, Hernendez) and guys that are generally wide open. It's not like these guys have any trouble getting seperation from their defender. Not many tight windows Brady is throwing into really.

Yes, he's not throwing to Andre Johnson.

However, his weapons are complete. Two pass catching tight ends. YAC recievers. Guys who win one on one matchups the majority of the time. It's a well rounded group of weapons.

With all that said, Vick is working with more expolosive players.

However, that doesn't take away from Vick. He's the catylst behind their team.

The guys are playing great no question. I mentioned them solely so you can take a look at the offensive players on that other guys team. Would you have chosen either of those rookie tight ends over someone like Celek before the season? Welker over DeSean? Hell if you had your pick between those two comparisons to bring in for Peyton today, you would still go with the Eagles players...

No one in the world is downgrading them, just pointing out that most were nobodies when the season started.

Thats why the Eagles got their asses handed to them when they had to throw out Kevin Kolb against the best team in the NFC (Atlanta). Right?

Vick is playing great no doubt about it. But he is not the MVP.
