I think they've amped up the defense this time around, I started a player manager with Burnley(just a random 2nd rate english squad me and my brother chose in '10) and i'm having trouble finding space like i used to. This could be because the squads im vsing are all defensive minded, not entirely sure.
When playing the demo i didn't have much trouble finding space though so i'll see what happens when i move up a little.
The defense is more aggressive so you can burn them easier. They really jump on passing lanes, if you can get the ball by them it's easy to get free. The passing got loosers but more realistic too, you can't do pinball passing as easy, you need to aim.

Will take this advice and see how I go tomorrow if i play as the whole team. Currently workin on my virtual pro in Real Madrid, finally got a run on the team and picked up player of the match and a decent follow up which has kept my spot in the squad.
I'm probably talking to myself here but what's up with all the quitters on FIFA? You score a couple quick goals and boom, they leave the game, which is a 3-0 loss every time unless the other team is winning by more. Or people just automatically quit if you score a last minute goal..it's annoying. People need to man up and just take their losses.
I think a lot of people quit when you score on crosses, if you get 2 within the first 15 or so.
Another thing, is people hate it if you steal it from their defenders and score an easy breakaway.
The most annoying thing bout quitters is it seems to mess with achievements. I have 120 games played online, still no gold for 100 played. Another thing is broke is the win 5 in a row. I thought it didn't count if you had a quitter, but recently I had a 7 game win streak without any quitters, no achievement.
This game was my first football game since N64, and it's weird because it has gotten me into football in real life. I knew none of the basic strategies and really sucked at it to start, something like 5-20. I've since dug myself out of that whole and am one game over .500%. I watched real life games to try to figure out some basic strategies, where players shoot from, etc. It really is a great sport, I especially love the way the leagues are set up, the history between teams tied into the history of the nations, etc.
Me vs my friend yesterday, 113th minute goal, I went up 3-2. He scored in the 120th cause I was laughing so much and legit couldnt concentrate. He won 4-3 on penalties, still, funny ass goal.
i forget my sn but ill add it after i look. i dont play online much because with the baby its hard, he cries, i have to go pick him up. so randomly i just have to stop, i never disconnect, but i just stop playing sometimes. its not really fair to my opponents.
