Re: Can we all agree that the JFK assassination was conspiracy
A conspiracy in the sense that there was more than one shooter, sure. I believe Oswald absolutely was a shooter, but not the only one, and that the others involved conspired for him to take the complete fall for it.
However, I don't buy into any of the more popular theories (the Mafia, government conspiracy, etc).

But if you put the murdered President of the United States on one side of a scale and that wretched waif Oswald on the other side, it doesn't balance. You want to add something weightier to Oswald. It would invest the President's death with meaning, endowing him with martyrdom. He would have died for something.
A conspiracy would, of course, do the job nicely.

That is interesting. Especially considering the theories of one documentary that said the Skulls were behind the assassination.
As for my own beliefs about what happened. I do believe there was a conspiracy involving many high up government men. There are just too many fishy things. Why were the secret service called away from the car, which is completely against code? Why were there tons of open windows in the surrounding buildings (it is protocol to make sure all windows within view are shut, and if one opens, secret service will be at that persons door in a brief moment)? Why did JFK's body switch caskets in midflight despite government officials saying the body remained in a closed casket the entire flight? Why was their a 'V' shaped cut (as if from a scalpel) in JFK's head by the bullet hole before the autopsy when the government said his body was not messed with? Why did JFK's brain disappear? Why was the autopsy performed by a man WHO HAS NEVER PERFORMED AN AUTOPSY BEFORE? There are so many other questions and inconsistencies, but they aren't coming to mind right now.
