Default Pats trade 4th rounder for Deion Branch

I guess those rumors were true, but a 4th rounder? Really?

WTF a 4th rounder? Wow Pats were desperate I guess. I still think Edelman and Tate are better options.

Wow. Don't know why they would give that for him other than him being well liked in the organization.

Seattle probably forced their hand.

i still think NE should've kept Moss.

So Brady's best two WRs and first two options are going to be guys that are 5'9? That doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

Wow, Branch was slowly falling out their (bad) WR rotation. He would have been a solid pickup off waivers...but giving up a 4th, unbelievable.

So the trade was *almost* Moss for Branch...

Branch is washed up..Patriots are clearly panicking. They have enough draft picks though that giving up a 4th rounder means very little..

They could've kept Moss and got a 5th rounder if he left......but instead they trade him away for a third, then trade away a 4th rounder for Branch....

So basically, they could'be kept Moss plus added a 5th rounder in the draft if Moss left in free agency....instrad they got Branch and a third round pick for Moss, a 4th rounder and 5th rounder.

Why wont craft just spend the money? Brady isnt a spring chicken, they need stop trying to win with serviceable scrubs all around. It isn't going to work. They need marquee players. Trading away moss didn't help at all. I dont even understand what they are trying to do here.
