i've started watching Fairy Tail the anime(not the manga) and i got to admit i like it but they go WAY overboard with the comedy/characature moments. Even during fighting they try to pull comedy stuff during it which is just really annoying. they don't need to ALWAYS do the zig zag lined facial expression stuff every 5 seconds :P

thats really the only thing killing it for me, just wish there were more seriousness or the fighting being more dark.

Now i'm all up to date to the latest chapter of the manga. Personally for me its gotten a lot better later on since it levels out some and less tragedy where you at least get to stay with a main character, but some manga readers are really into good characters dying and it being real dark throuhout with tragedy, so they probably have opposite opinions of me with Claymore.
just caught up to the lastest chapter of Claymore... and you're right, it does level out after a very hectic couple of middle arcs.

yeah i probably would've stopped reading if it stayed like the early 'hectic' stuff. I mean i think its great now knowing what i know and it did add to the overall picture which helped keep you guessing and not be obvious but theres only so much of that i can take.

I'll probably be watching Usagi Drop because I loved the manga (at least until the time skip) and Milky Holmes because I enjoyed the first season. Other then that I'm not too sure. I imagine the chart will grow a bit yet before summer though.

I actually started Naruto when it was on it's 100 filler episode run. Then I watched a bit of Shippuden, but I stopped because it had too many episodes.

I enjoy Shippuuden. I almost stopped watching it because there was a season of straight fillers but besides that, its been fine. The Pain arc imo was amazing, hopefully something can compare to that in later eps.

Shippuden is off the hook right now. Kage arc has the HW's fighting.

DBZ doesn't hold a candle to Naruto. Naruto has so much emotion and world to it i haven't found an anime that comes close. almost everything else is just straight fight/dueling, or completely centered around it. i'd say Bleach is more like DBZ than Naruto.

Seeing as Last exile is getting a new anime, figured I'd finally get around to watching it. Cool show, definitely recommend it.
