They still didn't get "shitted" on. They lost by three after after a miraculous scramble by Eli and catch by Tyree. Yes, the Giants defense held the best offense in NFL history to 14 points, but they didn't blow out New England or anything.
Eli is most certainly shitty. He's been carried by his defense for years.
Giants had an awful D last year..
Eli has been playing great this season, it's not his fault that receivers drop passes that turn to picks.. Atleast half of his picks this yr was due to his receivers dropping easy passes and defenses catching them.
And yet it came down to an atrocious throw by a shitty quarterback that turned into a fluke catch by nobody David Tyree.
Kind of like how Boston was within 4 points of winning another championship last year.
I was with you until this point:
Actually it was a 60 minute game in which the NYG played out their game plan better than NE. And even on that play, it shouldn't have happened, Eli and David just had more idk... will? Idk what to call it...
Also Eli is not a shitty QB in fact he's actually pretty good. 58% of his passes completed on a team with sometimes iffy hands. 136 TD's to 96 Int's and he's been getting better.
Now to the OP sure they're on a decline... from 3 Superbowls and then a perfect regular season, it's hard not to decline from there. What do you expect?
I said that only because I don't like knickballer.
And, still waiting for that list there pal.
All of these players took less money to play for a 'championship contending' team after the Pats cheated their way to victory.
The only name I see on there worth mentioning is Adalius Thomas, and he signed a deal similar to the ones Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher received...but a year (Lewis) and 2 years (Urlacher) prior.
His deal was only 1.5 mil less a year than what James Harrison signed in '09 and that was after Harrison's DPOY award. And they got the same money guaranteed. Thomas got paid.
Just because those players were signing with the Pats because of a chance to win a championship doesn't mean they were getting paid any less than what they would have got somewhere else. Most of those players are no-names.
