I'm pretty average in size. 5'10", 165 and white. My standing vertical (no step) is about 37".

(No, that's not average. I don't know an average)

I would guess it is'nt true either. Not one player in this years draft has a standing vert that good

You know what? This is pretty funny. I hadn't been in this forum since I posted in this thread and actually when I clicked on this thread I didn't even remember I had posted in it. But now I remember posting and thinking "I'll have to check back on this so I can see everyone call me out". There's a reason that the last 4 times I've been to play ball people have asked me (and my friend when he's there) if I/we play college ball despite the fact that I'm 5'10" and white. I also constantly get asked if I have some special workout for my legs, which I don't. I've been able to hang on the rim since I was in 6th grade, when I was only about 5'6". I'm the exception to the rule and then some. No need to hate.

I'll try and make a video today with measurements of my standing reach and everything. How's that? I'll make sure and do something so you know it's me.

By the way, when we all tested our verticals for my high school basketball team, one of the guys only got about 21" and I remember everyone making fun of him for it, so take that for what it's worth. He could still dunk off of one foot though. He was about 6 feet tall and white.
