I don't see the Bulls and Knicks ever doing a trade in the near future. They've done enough dealing lately.

the knicks need to get rid of crawford. think about it, the guy does score a bunch of points (on occasion), but he consistently makes bad decisions that kill the team. also, marbury and francis need to feel confident out there, and when they do, they make good things happen. it's hard to be confident when there's a streaky shooter on the bench who can deceive his coach and other players into thinking he's going to make a positive contribution. just because he makes big plays sometimes doesn't mean he's been a great player.

I totally agree. Crawford would be best if he was traded. He's not really a point guard, he's not really a shooting guard. He has ONE night a month that he will make about 30 points, at the cost of being from the field 7 out of 30. The Knicks need a person that can show consistency and make better decisions when to shoot and when to pass. No to pass when open (to be confident when he is), no bad passes because you picked up you dribble, no forcing shots either. Crawford makes really bad decisions and forces the shot even with the whole other team with their hands in his face. That means someone is OPEN. SOMEONE. They need a REAL scorer. Not try to make someon a scorer, like Eddie Curry. They need a Paul Pierce, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony or Kobe type of guy. Someone who IS a scorer and will produce constantly throughout the game. Not someone to be forced fed the ball hoping that he will find a shot. They need someone who will create for himself to score and create for his teammates when he can't create for himself. Yeah, Jamal Crawford has to go.

Crawford's signing has really been the one move that has devasted isiah thomas's tenure since you can reasonabally argue either way for a lot of other moves. the trade for Francis was not a travesty, just the fact that Francis came in to a full boat. if the knicks got rid of Crawford, they could play a proper 4 guard rotation - Marbury, Francis, Q-Rich and Robinson (though sparingly), while maybe even finding time for Collins (who can really play!). Finding time for Q-Rich in the backcourt would open up time for Balkman and Lee at the 3 and 4 when Jeffries comes back, as well as free up Curry and Frye in case of foul trouble. James, Cato, and Rose as emergency 5s and 4s rounds out a solid team. Unfortunately, Jamal Crawford makes this a really uncomfortable team. when Jeffries comes back, Isiah is so bad of a coach that he's going to have to play crawford (bad coaches with too many defensive players need gunners). what's worse, a player like Curry needs a 4 and a 3 that can dribble and hit jumpers, are we really expecting Lee and Jeffries to fill that void? yikes...

oh yeah we will regret giving up on a guy that only plays one half of basketball and dont get too happy with Curry's play because he will disapoint you and you will be ready to boo him out of the stadium....also I hope Curry puts up Pat Ewing nubers for you guys because hes from the best city in the world...which is Chicago..but lets face it..this guy is lazy!

And I like Tyrus...hes going to be another Shawn Marion...he just needs to relax when he gets into games and let the game come to him...hes too anxious when he enters the game and that causes him to make mistakes...
