No I'm not. Watch the next 10 games. His mobility outside of the pocket, avoiding the rush, quick release is everything to this weak offensive line. This team was garbage when he was out with a finger injury 2 years ago.

I'm not even going to get in this discussion

Tony Romo, arguably the 2nd most important player in football.....I've heard it all now.

Doesn't matter, because the "braintrust" in dal actually thinks Romo is the guy. They won't use a #1 on a QB. And I"ll laugh and laugh and laugh...

That will probably go to Buffalo.

But yeah, they won't draft a QB. It's just fun to speculate.

Dallas is awful without Romo...

it might not be the second most important, I have no idea what the back up situation is like on a few other teams, but it is certainly up there, they are completely different without him.

don't act like it is the craziest thing you have ever heard...

of coarse, they could win with Kitna next week cause they play the Jags, but don't let that fool you...in some of your other posts you gave me the vibe that Dallas was losing because of Romo or that Romo isn't that great or something, but that isn't the case at all.

I don't think he's any more important to Dallas than other good starting QB's like Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, etc.

Even Ben. I know we were 3-1 without him but we had the leagues worst passing offense with like 130 yds/game.

yeah I have no idea who is backing Rodgers/Brees/Rivers/ect...

I find it hard to say that Ben is more important to the Steelers is than Romo is to Dallas though...

In fact I might even be more inclined to say that Troy is more important to the Steelers than Ben is...

Steelers are good without Ben...

shit Romo is one Troy P. away from 5 straight rings...

I do agree that Troy is the most important player on the team. But without Ben the Steelers are more like the Titans than a legit SB contender. Great defense and a good run game with a QB who needs to manage the game. Except we don't have CJ.

And that last statement is a wild overestimate and it really is just idle speculation.

Romo probably is more important to his team tho because we can grind out wins and Dallas can't. It's not like Dallas doesn't have a shit load of weapons without Romo. If Kitna plays anywhere near average, that team can still compete with anyone.

yes it was, don't take it too literally...Dallas REALLY REALLY REALLY needs a saftey worth a shit though...I'd kill 20 kittens to have Troy P in Dallas...lol

Ben has been great, but you had him last year and...

not saying Romo is better, but I don't think you can say he is less important to his team than Ben is...we can just disagree on that, no biggie

Another important player who was missing last year was Aaron Smith from our defense (who is done again this year ). Last season was a product of our defense not being able to hold a lead, not bad play by Ben.

yeah Ben was good last year, and you lost games...

similar to Romo being good this year and still losing...

I just think Dixon is miles above Kitna to where the Steelers are less needy of Ben than Dallas is of Romo...

It's got a lot more to do with how our team is built than the difference between Denny Dixon and Kitna. I would rather have Denny Dixon starting over Kitna tho lol.

yeah, the Steelers are probably better than Dallas in every single area except WR...and even that is close with Ward and Wallace and Miller
