wow... our bench is absolutely pathetic. Twill can't/won't shoot and everyone sucks. We turned the ball over so much they took back what should've been a blowout

I didnt watch but judging by the +/- looks like the kings went on a pretty big run. Whatever. 2-0 that is all that matters. Harris is averaging some nice stats. 9 assists then 10 assists. Has he finally found out how to play PG?

Missed the last few mins. Looks like we rallied again just like the Pistons game. We can keep blowing huge leads like this, were lucky the Pistons and the Kings were lower level teams. We have to be consistent for the better teams. Speaking of better teams, we got Miami next.. =/

In theory if the Nets can beat most or all of the "bad teams" and snag a few wins of "good" teams, we can get to like 45 wins. But that's looking ahead, and I am very excited to see the Nets 2-0, but the Nets should play with fire throughout the entire game, there are a lot of stretches where they let down and just stop producing.

Yea it's our bench from the looks of it. Twill is always penetrating but he never goes to finish hard or pull up. If that guy had a jumpshot...holy shit... he would get it off whenever because he can get by anyone (at least the past two nights i've seen). But instead of shooting these open jumpers he tries to hard to find guys in the paint and ends up with a lot of TOs. Farmar makes some bonehead plays too but he is always good for a clutch three and good defense.

When Harris and Brook are out there, however, it's a whole different story. Harris is so quick he can get by people at will especially with some nice picks and he, unlike twill, can and will stick the jumper when it's there. He'll also find our spot up guys (morrow, outlaw, farmar) everytime and he threw a few nice passes to brook for easy buckets. And lopez was pretty much automatic against the kings' big men last night. Four or five backdown dribbles, get in the middle of the paint, give the defender a bump with the body and shoot it. He got so many points doing that last night and like 2 or 3 and-1s. I just want to see how he plays against teams with good big men now.

Overall, we just need to get the bench to do better(25+ turnovers and like 10 down a stretch that brought the kings back from a double digit point deficit!) and keep lopez out of foul trouble. That is what let them back in the game yesterday when we were blowing them out for the first 30 minutes.

Woke up at 2 30 so I missed most the game. Looks like we were never close. Ahh well, 2-1 start still makes me happy.

Prediction:
Jackson and Wallace are gonna give us big problems but their bigmen will be bullied by Lopez offensively and Favors defensively.

Nets X Factor: Harris
bobcats X Factor: Augustine.

Just rewatched the whole bobcats-bucks game and we are really going to have to **** up to lose this game. Bogut was having his way in the paint against the bobcats as he was so much bigger than anyone that tried to guard him. Brook actually looks longer and bigger than bogut after watching both of them so all we'll need to do is throw it to him on the post and he will go to work against whatever undersized player is guarding him.

In terms of rebounding, the bobcats are a gang rebounding team where a bunch of guys just go after the ball. They don't have any elite rebounders on their team and they lack size for this category. I expect favors and lopez to push wallace, tyrus, and jackson right out of the paint and grab a lot of offensive and defensive boards.

The only way we realistically lose this game is if we commit a lot of turnovers like we already have in the second game against the kings. This team LIVES off of transition opportunities and if we take care of the ball, they are in for some trouble. Stephen jackson and gerald wallace isos in the half court setting don't scare me one bit.

Bottom line: the nets should win this game if we keep lopez out of foul trouble, run the offense through lopez, dominate the boards like we should, and take care of the ball (less than 12 turnovers would be great).
