Default Len Bias

I was waching PTI and I heard about glen bias (not sure about the spelling)and his tragic death on cocaine. It got me thinking what would of happened if he diden't die. Would we of won any championships and what kind of player would he have been. I really don't know much about this player and I saw some of his highlights he looked really good. PTI compared him to MJ. Was he really that good. I just wanted to know if any of you oldtimers know how he was and if you do fill me in on what kind of player he was.
If you don't know how Len Bias is he was the celtics No 1 draft pick. He was going to be the next great celtic player.

Len Bias. He was a little bigger than Jordan. Probably a body closer to that of Lebron James. His jumper was money and he was a great finisher. I'm not too sure about the defensive end and I believe he wasn't as good a ballhandler as Jordan. He would've been a great player, but probably not on GOAT status. But then again some people believe he would've ended up being better than Jordan.

Coming out of college many said he was better than Jordan. Of course, MJ wasn't "MJ" then, But still, Bias would have been damn good.

len bias aside from just being a sad story and a story of lost potential, his death lead to stiffer drug laws that have ruined many lives. celtic fans have the curse of len bias, but there are thousands of black men in prison due in large part to laws inacted after the outrage of bias's death.

Forgot to mention that Bias would've allowed some of the Celtic greats to keep playing deeper into their career(Mchale, Bird). Bias would've been able to take the load off of them.

Len Bias graduated from Maryland, and yes was very good at what he did with the ball. His court presence was miraculous. Yes he would have been a great asset to the Celtics had he lived. I was saddened by the waste of great talent the fans of the sport will and have missed. Whatever his demons, he is resting. We all had visions of more than 17- we could have had more, as they were saying with Bias=Dynasty.

I miss this talent.

Bias would have given the celtics the added depth it needed. You plug him into the front court rotation, Give Bird, Mchale, parish and Walton,Dj and ainge 7 or 8 minutes more rest a night and those injuries may not have happened. Plus they would have blown out teams and those guys could have taken the 4th quarter off in half there games, like this years celtics.
Add Reggie Lewis and they would have been super athletic, which was where they were vulnerable to some of the teams with great athletes.
They could have kept Ainge, because if you don't remember he was traded for Joe Kleine and Ed Pinckney because they had no size with the injuries.

It is kind of nice to think what if....

But this is what the celts could have had

An even funnier thought would be to have bird as the sixth man on that team.

DJ -sichting
Ainge-Lewis Bias
Bird Bias
Mchale Bias
Parish Walton

With more luck they could have ran the table for the rest of the 80's with that roster. I just don't see how the lakers or the Pistons could have dealt with them. Chuck Daly would have lost his mind trying to deal with them.
