I think it's simple. People are still going to be assholes and spoil things when you come to threads like these. I haven't even touched the Game of Thrones thread because I only watch the TV show. Visit these threads with your own discretion.
Movie threads are discussing the movie and it's details after watching it. This particular thread is about a TV show that is not OVER. To answer bold they are here to discuss every episode after it's over not the comics. Most people just watch the show over the comics in case you didn't know, like most people have seen the move rather than reading the book. Since their are most TV watcher than comic readers, the comic readers should respect the TV watcher and post the spoilers in white and don't ruin the series for others.
A) Title says Walking Dead....
B) Based on a very Popular Comic series that many people read...( hence why they created a TV series)
C) This is the internet.....so when asking questions about a popular TV show based on a Popular Comic will most likely lead to answers that have already been seen in the comics......
also..
Discussing The Show / Comics will lead to comparisons.....differences in Characters / story.
This is the wrong Forum/thread/site to whine about Comic book comparisons or Spoilers.
( and teh Movie reference was not about people who have watched or already seen the movie....many times spoilers come out months before the movie is released...and people get mad becuase they were reading about it in the movie thread......)

This is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard. Pick up a book, read it, it's a good exercise of your brain that just being fed images from a TV.
Michone is an awful character. I'm struggling to understand why we are suppose to sympathize with her. she just comes off as a stereotypical angry black woman or a very controlling lesbian.
I'd say distrustful and mysterious. I didn't know we were supposed to sympathize with her so far. Where did you get that from? They're bringing her character along slowly. Doesn't bother me.

It's not hard to start a thread to discuss the comic. A little common courtesy would be nice, but I guess that's asking too much.
If you can't at least white out potential spoilers you're just an asshole. If you're cool with that then whatever I guess, but you're still a pretty big asshole. God forbid you make three extra mouse strokes to hide spoilers, asshole.

All the reason why 2 seperate threads should be made. Regardless if it's the TV viewer or the comic reader. There should be seperation.
Nobody is faulting people for discusses the comic and making the comparison to the TV show. But by doing so it reveals details which would likely not have been know to the TV veiwer. even the subtle comments gave away certain hints. For example, if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have known about the characters Michonne and the Govenor LONG before they were introduced. Not only that, details of the characters that were discussed built a false sense of character which led to higher expectations. Who knows, the show may have been more interesting to the viewer if this is what the director wanted to convey for both those characters.
Someone made a simple comment about the phone call. That in itself was like a little spoiler.
The TV veiwer wants to discuss the show in it's show state. It can't be done because discussing the comic throws certain details off. This is where they should part. If it makes the comic book fans feel better I'll just start a new thread dedicated entirely to the TV fans.
