Lori's been alright so far, even that little fvcker Carl has been ok.
All in all, an excellent start to this season, there's been more intensity and gripping moments in those two episodes then there was in all of last season. T-Dog probably also has spoken more in those two episodes than he did all last season...lol
i don't get how S1 could be so great, S2 being so awful, and now S3 starting out being really good. i just have a hard time believing it was all budget issues as a excuse since i can't see how hard it is to have zombies chasing people and some gore here and there. i'd think good writing can make up for that crap. i still think the character dialogues are really bad even in S3 so far, but the situation they're in and zombie killing have been awesome. it'd be even better if i wasn't spoiled with meeting the warden and that town stuff they show in the previews. i really like their prison home right now, so many possibilities...
and the other thing that kind of bothered me was why not just camp outside and leave all of the doors open and kill them as they come out? or just send someone quick in there and get them to lure them out. i'm ok with everything else they did.
I do think it's weird no one has made the case that "hey, there's only a handfull of living people we've run into in the last year or so, perhaps we should try to join forces for everyone's sake" play. I suppose Rick did it a little with Hershel's group.
Yeah, but I can understand there being a general distrust of strangers, especially convicts. Plus, there's a baby on the way and they're in a new place so there's not the sense of security there yet. You just can't join forces with everyone you meet. In the world they live in you have to be able to trust the people you're with or everyone could end up as a zombie. Convicts would have a longer road to gain that trust.
not that i didnt enjoy tonight's ep, just having no rick scenes seemed wrong.
governor, i thought he was actually quite decent until he ambushed the military unit. still a lot of scenes need to explain him and his community's background. hope they dont leave it unexplained. got way too many questions that i can think of right now.
storyline is looking good for this season though. much better than s2
so I guess the Governor's daughter's not in the show.
this is like an entirely different show from last season, it's crazy. I'm glad they split the group up, they needed to pick up the pace, killing 2 comic storylines in the same season is a good start.

i think the point was to set it up like that so it hits us harder when we find out how messed up he is. and he is one messed up mofo. def great set up for the rest of the season. i wonder how ricks group will end up in contact with them?

Like they could fool a 12-years old teenager with that.. And how bad of a company were those soldiers, being ambushed by a bunch of amateurs. Every single episode, they include some plothole, logical fallacy or idiotic bullsh*t.
