Default Mavs have got some work to do

as witnessed in last nights game against Minnesota, the Mavs have got some work to do. sure they won, but was anyone besides me absolutely livid with the way they played in the 4th quarter?
somehow, they have got to quit jacking the s**t out of long range shots when they've missed like the last 10 or so. take the freakin' ball to the hole. Minnesota erased a 18 point lead or so, in no time at all.
Pretty soon, if they don't change, you're gonna see a team go zone defense for the whole game. minnesota absolutely shut Dallas down when they went to zone.
Dallas was lucky last night. if they wanna keep this winning streak up, they've got to make some changes when they're not shooting well.

With the way the zone has been bothering them lately, I expect Avery is working on that in practice. At least one good thing about being home all week. There will be a chance to get in some practice time before hitting the road.

i was happy with the win, despite the weak fourth quarter. in this league its only a matter of time before a win streak like this ends. while they were weak in the fourth quarter they showed a lot of fortitude in not letting it go once the game was tied. It's that kind of determination that would have helped in the miami series. In 82 games plus playoffs, cold runs are going to happen. It's what they do when those happen that is important, and they did what was needed against the timberwolves.

Agreed soog, it was nice to see them get it done when they needed to. Even more surprising was Damp being the guy to come up big.
