lazy s.o.b, in fairness though, when your teams down by that much, you might aswell put some youngsters in there and give them a shot, see what they got, even if it is the 3rd quater

Another thing...these leagues, especially the nfl and nba...need a process where they can terminate contracts. When a player demands a trade, then NBA or NFL teams should be able to cut their assss. With this lazy a-hole, didn't he refuse to play for a little bit in the beginning of the season? Ugh

They can terminate his contract whenever they want I believe. They can't get back the bonus money that they have already given him, but the remainer of his contract can be terminated.

Definitely legit. That's pretty disgraceful to be dogging it like that. At least Randy Moss serves his team as a decoy when he half asses it on routes down field.

If Haynesworth gets up, #99 likely gets to Vick or at least makes him move again. But because Haynesworth was on the ground Herremans just slid over and blocked #99 right when Vick was throwing it. So yeah...get your ass up.

He's been a beast at times this year, but he's also been a lazy, distracting asshole at other times. You have to take the good with the bad with him. I'm more disappointed with bringing in Haslett and taking a defense that's top 10 every year and turning it into the worst defense in the NFL.

Do you thin converting to the 3-4 was a good choice by the Skins or should they have stayed with the 4-3?

I personally am fine with that play. He did his job extremely well by taking on a double team and not only keeping the point of attack, but beating the double team and collasping the pocket forcing Vick to go elsewhere.

And what about the part where he takes a nap while the guy that no longer has to block him goes to block someone else? That was some inexcusable laziness. That was the shittiest effort I've ever seen from a paid alleged professional. He should be ashamed. One of the basic tenets of football: It's one thing to get blocked, it's another thing to stay blocked...and another thing entirely to lie face down in the dirt like you're waiting for your boyfriend. The prone bone pass rush is a definite no-no.

If it were someone other than Vick, I would agree that forcing him out of the pocket would be a good enough job. But with Vick the Eagles love to get him in super deep drops or outside of the pocket because he operates better in those situations. With him, the pursuit once he starts to go elsewhere is more important than forcing him from the pocket.

That makes no sense. You can only do your job, and Haynesworth did his job tremendously well by defeating a double team and creating a push up the middle.

If Albert gave me that same type of initial dominance every time but ended up on the ground and not getting up until the play was over, I'd be a happy coach. That's why I can't make a big fuss about it.

They were blitzing four in a goaline situation. It's not like his job was to occupy two guys and create a push for the linebackers to blitz the gaps. At that point they were dropping the rest into coverage and the 4 linemen were supposed to get after the quarterback. Shoving an O-lineman a few yard and then laying on the ground for 3+ seconds is not doing your job in that situation. It was a great initial push but you have to finish the play.
